Sorry, it's been a while.

House of Bread article in The Journal Gazette's Weekender by Emma Downs....right here

All Nite Skate is working with John Hartman on an audio/visual installment that will be exbhited at The Kachmann Gallery starting July 14. We will be playing that night at the opening. On June 9th, the band will travel to Bloomington to record "14" at Russian Recording. "14" will be the soundtrack to Hartman's video for the exhibit. More information is coming soon.

There you are! Copy and pasted from muthafuckin myspace.

uuhhh...we saw Yo La Tengo and Times New Viking last weekend in Indianapolis. We also had the pleasure of partying with Times New Viking on the tour bus. Besides the partying pleasures, the show was amazing. Ira even took a personal request from Darcy. He also told me why and how they manage to rock and thrash so hard.

Coming up:
  • Lightning Bolt in Bloomington, IN
  • The actual release of House of Bread's sophmore album
  • House of Bread shows
  • All Nite Skate 2007 tour

Not newish songs that are still like "Yea man"

So, Phil's in the band now, we're still in the courting/flirting phase of the relationship. Once it gets to heavy petting, we'll let you know with a few show dates.

Um, here's a list of songs not from 2007 that have crept up on me recently (or have never left my mind) due to their awesomeness.

  • Mogwai - We're No Here
  • The New Pornographers - Jackie Dressed In Cobras
  • Pelican - Drought
  • Of Montreal - Disconnect The Dots
  • The American Analog Set - Play Hurt
  • The Beta Band - Broke
  • Russian Circles - Carpe
  • Smashing Pumpkins - Hummer
  • Stars of The Lid - Requiem For Dying Mothers Part 2
  • Sunn O))) - Hell-O)))-Ween
  • Super Furry Animals - Something 4 The Weekend
  • Xiu Xiu - I Love The Valley
  • Yo La Tengo - Tom Courtnenay
What a pointless list. Anyways, those songs are awesome and not from this year. WTF...sorry.

New Drummer Announced :)

Phil Arbogast will be the new drummer from All Nite Skate. He's a nice guy with a friendly attitude who likes to be courteous to others.

Here are other projects Phil is involved in:
Destroy Knowing
Phil Arbogast

Vaka - No longer together, Phil played guitar in Vaka, and coincidentally, Kay played drums.

Welcome Phil!

Drummers, Friends, Breads

Where the hell do I begin...?

All Nite Skate
The lack of updates is due to a huge amount of random shit that's been going on, some good, some bad, some sad, some awesome, some gnarly.

Kay Gregg has left All Nite Skate to pursue graphic design. We wish her the best! Go to eyeballgraphics.com for some of her work. We're not at liberty to say who will be the next drummer, although, it will most likely be announced within the week or so.

There obviously going to be some time taken off from playing shows. Our plan is to resume the shows in the spring/early summer. We are still planning on touring this summer also.

House of Bread
"Out of Sight: Because You Hear It" is finished.

After artwork is complete, expect shows, dancing, crying, laughing, murder, and public indecency.

We'll be announcing shows soon enough.

1. Immortal Horses
2. Happy Tragic (Crossing Guard)
3. The Best Nap Ever!
4. The City Fear
5. Pink and Orange Smoke
6. Japan
7. Shine Shine Sparkle Dance (Lessons)
8. Ambulance
9. Zeno of Elea
10. Afternoon Kool Aid
11. Friends With Cave Dwellers
12. Keep Your Goals Away From The Trolls (Narwhals)
